Staying at this Japanese-style hotel was a fantastic experience. You can immerse yourself in Japanese nostalgia as the hotel has great historical value. the facilities were first grade, with a choice between traditional futon and Western-style beds in clean rooms scented with igusa and hinoki, making it very restful. the hinoki batf had a lovely wood scent. the meals were delicious, especially the tiger puffer course, and staff was very patient with our limited Japanese.

Using the hotel's wifi can be tricky and limited to certain areas.

Beautiful garden view room, authentic Japanese-style meals, relaxing hot springs, and patient staff despite our limited language skills. Transportation was a bit confusing using the JR pass, but once we figured it out, it was smooth sailing.

Spent xmas here and it was awesome! The gardens are stunning and there are private onsens that you don't have to book. The Japanese food is a must-try and the staff is super friendly. Plus, the rooms have enough space and great views of the city!

If you're looking to stay connected, the wifi is only available near the front desk. , some parts of the hotel show its age, but this is only a minor setback.

The room amenities were top-notch, with a cozy sitting area, free Wi-Fi, and a safe for our valuables. We also loved the traditional Japanese-style dinner and breakfast, it was a new and delightful experience. The hot spring onsens were restful and added to the overall comfort of our stay.

Beautiful Gardens and Relaxing Hot Springs. the gardens were absolutely breathtaking and so serene! I spent a lot of time walking around and enjoying their calming beauty. the hot springs were also amazing and exactly what I needed after a long day of sightseeing. They truly helped me relax and added to my overall positive experience. the location was great, with easy access to key tourist spots.
